A dimensionally stable layer of scratch-resistant, specially hardened polycarbonate (PC) acts as a protective outer shield. Embedded in it, and perfectly matched, lies the invisible shock absorber: a robust and simultaneously flexible inner bumper made of polyurethane (TPU).
